The busiest airport to service the Milan area is Malpensa International (Aeroporto Malpensa) which is located almost fifty kilometres to the north-west of the city along the Autostrada dei Laghi (A8/E62).  Malpensa Airport sees close to thirty million passengers each year and has two terminals, terminal one having several halls.  British Airways and FlyBe are based at Terminal 1 hall B, whilst Easy Jet flies out of Terminal 2. There are several car hire companies at Malpensa, with Avis and Europcar based in both terminals whilst Auto Europa, Budget, Sixt and Thrifty are in Terminal 1 (first floor).  Linate Airport, though smaller than Malpensa International, is located within the suburbs of Milan itself and is used by several airlines including British Airways and Easy Jet.  If you are flying into this airport all of the major car hire companies have desks on the ground floor of the arrivals hall.
